This was from a senior portrait shoot that we did. We ended up with a lot of great shots that were very fun to make. This was our favorite from the shoot and went over very well with Ben and his parents.
This shot was from a portrait shoot that we did with this couple out in one of the local parks. A very handsome couple that was easy to photograph.
My brother Tim. A real cool cat. We wanted to get something with him and our little bro Rob. that was edgy and so we shot with a really high synch rate to make the flash the primary light over the daylight. With them against the brick wall and the moody light we had several pictures that worked well.
This was from a high school portrait shoot that we did. This beautiful girl was easy to photograph and had several props like the hat that made the shoot fun an interesting.
Another senior portrait. This one is one of my favorites. The soft light seemed to just work very well here.
Play ball! This one just worked so well. I'm a big fan of non-traditional portraits and love to take a few with a wide angle lens when I think it will work. It paid off big time with this shot, giving it a kind of little rascals look to it.
A shot from an engagement portrait set that we did. This is one of the shots that Amanda insisted we try at the end of the day and it ended up being one of our favorite captures.
One of several shots from a Senior portrait session.
A shot of two of my brothers. We were going for something a little different. My brother Rob was just back from Iraq and so I wanted to get some portraits of him.
We set up to take some skate pictures and this was one of the out-takes from that set as we dialed in the light where we wanted it.
A tribute shot to the photographer Platon. I wanted to capture the hands in this senior portrait in such a way as to give a kind of puppy dog look to it. You know the big paws of a strong and growing pup that needs to grow into the paws sort of thing.
Zachary, is a wonderful young man that my family loves and this is one of my favorite portraits of him.
